Soft-spoken and honest, the Delhi native Mangesh is on a charge to eradicate gender inequality in Indian society, raising the status and safety for women. Mangesh is a graduate of biosciences from Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi, and completed her M.Sc. in Forensic Science at Indraprasha University, Delhi. Working with Teach For Green’s <a href=https://teachforgreen.org/green-school-green-community/”>Green School Green Community</a> Program, she believes that education is key to empower and enable women.
An avid traveler, she has seen beautiful parts of India including Dalhousie (Himachal Pradesh), Remeshwaram (Tamil Nadu), Kanyakumari, and Andaman Island, and hopes to visit others such as Northeast India, Ladakh, and Maldive Island. Her favorite pasttimes are reading books, watching movies, and enjoying her friends.
